Application
General Turfgrass Maintenance and Recovery: Apply
Genesis Rx 5-7-5 directly to turfgrass at an application rate of 15 pounds of
product per 1000 sq. ft. Apply to dry turf and water in thoroughly following
application.
Aerification: Genesis Rx 5-7-5 is recommended
for application following your normal aerification program. Typical application
rates range from 5-20 LBS/1,000 SQ FT. Product may be broadcast applied and
placed into aerification holes via drag mat or broadcast applied in conjunction
with sand topdressing.
Seed Establishment: This product may be
applied in conjunction with seed at the time of turfgrass establishment.
Recommended rates for product application range from 5-30 LBS depending on
turfgrass species and desired nutrient delivery rate.
Sod and Sprigging Establishment: For best
results when sodding split the application into two parts. Apply half the rate
to prepared soil prior to laying the sod and follow with a broadcast
application over the top of the new sod with the remainder of the rate. For sprigging, the product can be applied in
conjunction with turfgrass sprigs at time of establishment. Recommended rates
for product application range from 10-30 LBS depending on turfgrass species and
desired nutrient delivery rate. SOIL/USGA
Specified Media Amendment: Genesis Rx 5-7-5 may
be applied directly to your USGA or native soil mixture during construction and
prior to establishment. We recommend a soil test prior to calculating media
mixing ratios to determine the amount of Genesis Rx 5-7-5 needed.
Restrictions
Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches.
Do not apply if heavy rain is expected.
Apply this product only to treatment area and sweep any
product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street, back onto the treated
area.
